Royal Mail s 1st Class stamps aim to deliver your letter or parcel the next working day, including Saturdays, anywhere in the UK. Royal Mail s 1st Class stamps meet all your postal requirements and are easy to use with their self-adhesive backing. 1st Class stamps can be used for letters or parcels up to 100g in weight, with dimensions up to 35.3cm x 25cm x 2.5cm.

Following a successful national trial Royal Mail will now be adding unique barcodes to all regular everyday Definitive and Christmas stamps. Each barcoded stamp will have a digital twin and the two will be connected by the Royal Mail App. The unique barcodes will facilitate operational efficiencies, enable the introduction of added security features and pave the way for innovative services.

The barcodes match the stamp colour and sit alongside the main body of the stamp, separated by a simulated perforation line. The new barcode is an integral part of the stamp and must remain intact for the stamp to be valid. You can also scan the barcode using the Royal Mail app to watch and share exclusive videos.
