Go Zero Charge provides a three-year warranty as a happiness guarantee for Costco members. Excellent customer support available to all Optimus owners and in the unlikely event of a major fault, the unit will be fully replaced within the terms of the warranty.
*Standard installation process – How it works:
Upon purchase, customers will receive SMS including instructions to complete a virtual survey (customer support with the survey is available). After completing your virtual survey, you will be contacted by the vendor to arrange delivery and installation. Please
do not open or unpack the charger, this could void your warranty and should only be done by an electrician.
Standard installation: usually within 2-3 weeks of virtual survey completion (subject to DNO approval1).
Delivery of charger: During the week prior to installation.
PLEASE NOTE: If your property does not meet standard installation terms, further materials may be required to complete your installation at an additional cost, which will be quoted in advance.
Covered with standard installation:
– Fitting the charger on a brick or plaster wall or other suitable permanent
structure.
– Cable supplied up to five metres, fixed flush to the wall, from the consumer unit to the charger.
– Cable to be installed at a maximum height of two metres.
– Cable route through one drilled hole in a wall up to 20 inches thick where required.
– Fitted in compliance with current wiring regulations BS7671 and Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation, 4th Edition.
Not covered with standard installation:
– Cable trenched or hidden behind walls, through joists, under flooring, aerial or underground.
– No civil works to be disturbed/moved as part of the installation.
– Run cable under floorboards or through ducting/ceiling voids/wall voids without a drawcord or if the floorboards have not been lifted. Go Zero Charge can t take responsibility for reinstating flooring or other building materials after the cable has been laid.
