ProRep Terrascaping Sealing Resin, Texturing Compound and Colour Pigment Terrarium

ProRep Terrascaping Sealing Resin 1kg –

Creating exciting naturalistic habitats with living plants has never been easier using the step by step products available from ProRep.

First, a structural framework using polystyrene or expanding foam.

Then this is textured using the Terrascaping Texturing Compound, before being waterproofed using this sealing resin.

You can also colour using the Terrascaping Colour Pigment by mixing the pigment into the resin to create the required colour and shade.

You can then apply to a background, glass, wood, etc. using a brush which you can leave as it is, or you can press sand, bark or other textured finishes into it while still wet.

Water based resin used straight from the tin. It is not solvent based and so it does not have the offensive smell associated with silicone.

Once cured the resin is inert and is safe to use in all environments, including fully aquatic set ups.

ProRep Terrascaping Texturing Compound 1kg –

Creating exciting naturalistic habitats with living plants has never been easier using the step by step products available from ProRep.

Simply create a basic structure with polystyrene, celcon block or expanding foam.

Then create a natural looking surface by applying texturing compound and modelling to look like rocks or wood.

Finally waterproof it with sealing resin, coloured to your choice.

You can leave the resin bare or have bark, coconut fibre or sand pressed into it to make a rough, naturalistic surface.

This will allow moss and plants to grow up it.

This powdered modelling compound is used for the second stage.

Mix the powder with water to make a paste and then spread over the basic structure. This will make a textured, realistic base ready for sealing.

ProRep Terrascaping Resin Colour Pigment –

This product is available in Black, Brown, Red or Yellow colours.

First create a structural framework using polystyrene or expanding foam.

Then this is textured using the Terrascaping Texturing Compound, before being waterproofed using Terrascaping Sealing Resin.

Mix with the sealing resin to create a colour which also matches the desired effect in the terrarium.

Adding more or less of the pigment will then determine how dark or light the colour is.

You can mix the pigments to create different colours.
